Hello World!

Hello and welcome; here we are, a brand new blog.

If you’re reading this, you’re getting in on the ground floor, which is awesome, and congratulations -you’ve already taken the first step in maximising your restaurant’s profitability.

You might well be wondering, “what is Profit Kitchen all about?” and “can I really afford the time to be reading a blog when I’ve got a million other things to do?”

Well, good news; Profit Lab is specifically created for restaurant owners and managers with the single goal of helping you maximise your profitability so that you can have the business and lifestyle you deserve and want. –It’s as simple as that.

If you’re like any of the restaurant clients I’ve worked with in the past, I dare say you got into this game because you had a vision. Maybe that vision was to build your dream restaurant, maybe it was to make a lot of money, or perhaps you wanted to achieve a certain lifestyle. Whatever that vision was, I’m sure you will agree that profitability is an essential foundation and central to your vision.

Maximising your profitability makes everything a whole lot easier; it eases some of the pressure of having your own business, gives you more freedom and allows you make better decisions. Most importantly though, it’s almost impossible to realise your vision and maximise your enjoyment without it.

I genuinely want your business to thrive, so my commitment to you is that I will release one short blog post every week, which will cover all sorts of topics relating to the operational and commercial aspects of running a restaurant. No matter what the topic, it will directly or indirectly support the notion of maximising profit; and whenever possible will include free resources to help you get the most out of these posts.

I know you’re busy! So I’ll also keep these posts brief, but I encourage you to put a small amount of time aside each week to read and ponder what you read.

Maybe make it part of your weekly ritual; grab a coffee or a tea, find a quite spot free of distractions, and spend some time awakening your inner restaurant entrepreneur.

Oh, and if you’re wondering how much this is going to cost . . . it’s free. Completely and genuinely! All I ask is that you invest the time, share it with your industry friends and most importantly give me feedback and ask questions.

I’d love to hear from you as this will help me create content most relevant to my readers.

Bye for now!
